Stoic Vamp 15 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Down

January 16, 2011

I just bought this bag, but I don't understand why it and so many others aren't mateable. I have a 15 year old 5 degree synthetic bag that has lost nearly all of its loft that I can mate with a 35 degree down turd of a bag. My wife and I rock temps as low as 10 on the front range and are never cold. Its an untapped market some outfitter should take advantage of.

Backcountry.com Titanium Flask - 2.5oz

Rating for this product: 2 December 20, 2009

As a bartender I pour nearly everybody 1.5oz shots (the well known poor tippers get 1oz, maybe less). So what are you gonna do with a flask that holds 1 and 2/3 shots? Sport some everclear in your breast pocket? God bless the zero excess man who needs a titanium flask and pounds everclear!

Backcountry.com Goat Klean Kanteen - 27 oz

Backcountry.com Goat Klean Kanteen - 27 oz

Rating for this product: 1 November 3, 2009

The cap on this thing broke with the black plastic part separating from the stainless steel on the third day I took it to the OFFICE! Wouldn't last 10 minutes on a camping trip. I thought about trying to glue it back together, but am afraid I'll be eating epoxy with every sip. Might as well got a BPA bottle.
