I recently wore my Venture on a 4-hour hike in steady rain. My hiking buddy wore a Marmot Precip. Afterwards she had to wring the water out of the fleece she was wearing underneath. Under my Venture I was dry, dry, dry. I've had it for almost a year and it's still going strong, I wear it almost every day. Now I'm going to get the Venture pants to replace my Marmot pants.

I have 4 icebreaker Ts and this one (in black) is my favorite. I find it's softer and more comfortable than the thinner ultralite shirts, closer to cotton in feel without the odor.
The fit is great-- flattering but not skintight, and the flower graphic makes it so versatile. I can just as easily wear it hiking or dressed up with a cute skirt and cardigan. Love it!

I have this in Snow and I love the cute graphics on the side panels. (The graphics go down both sides, which I couldn't tell from the picture.) The two extra front seams make it less smooth and might bother some people. I like the back style which comes up higher than other camis, but I think the straps are a little too short-- I have to adjust them to their longest setting, and I could use more length. The bottom hem is elastic, which I'm not crazy about. Still, this cami has everything I love about icebreaker: great fit, long enough to keep you covered and tuck in if you want to, soft and comfortable, and odor resistant. The Snow is very see-through, which I don't mind for an undershirt.

I have this in the discontinued Alba Green and the color is brighter and more spring-y than in the picture. I'm very happy with the fit, but I'm petite so I expect others might find the sleeves too short. I love that the hood cinches in the back. It's stood up well to snow and high wind; I haven't had the chance to use it in heavy rain yet. It's lightweight and packs down small enough to always keep in my bag just in case.

I really wanted to like this top, but it just didn't fit me right. The torso was fitted, but the arms were way too baggy and long, and just not comfortable. The collar was too loose to add much warmth.
On the plus side, the wool is among the softest I've ever worn. Overall, this top gets the job done, but for the price you can certainly do better. My Icebreaker tops fit so much better than I just had to return this one.
