Bio:
Im from northern california and as such I consider myself to be blessed. Hiking and Packing are my only true quiet and alone time with two small boys at home, cant wait for them to be big enough to come with me though =). I didnt used buy into the superlight minimalist fad, through exhaustive research I have educated myself to a new plane of enlightenment. I learned , thankfully, that you can be safe and enjoy trips much more then would be possible with 50 pounds of worthless crap on your back. Hopefully someday i will be able to pack in other countries but for now im locked happily behind the "Redwood Curtain"

Sea To Summit Ultra-Sil Dry Sack DO NOT USE
April 26, 2009
You may benefit from an 8l for overnighting but maybe try bringing only what you are going to wear. Socks and thermals will easily fit into one of the smaller size sacks. I use a 2l for my "extra" clothing on 2-3 trips and I usually have extra space!

Sea To Summit Ultra-Sil Dry Sack DO NOT USE
April 26, 2009
Depends on where you are, these are in no way shape or form animal proof. If you are in bear country stick with a can, if rodents are your worry then this may work if hung properly. If anything you are trying to keep out gets ahold of this you are probably gonna end up hiking out hungry! Good Luck
