Up. So it does not crush your head and give you a headache. It comes with extra pads you can insert inside it to tighten the fit up.

Just take the liner out. You will see velcro panels on the sides of the liner. Just velcro the J-bars to the side of the liners, put em back in and your good to go.

To get them molded instantly then yes you need to take them to a shop. However they will gradually mold to the shape of your foot over time by using the heat off of your foot. The choice is yours.
