Maui Jim Navigator Sunglasses - Polarized

February 26, 2009

Errol; Maui Jim Pele's have a wide frame, but aren't wraparound. Serengeti Cascades will work, but some are only photochromic instead of polarized. Coyote Sedonas are Polarchromic, and fit great, but may be too light, depending on the tint you need.Native has some really good shades like the Tare, etc.,that are polarized which could fit. I have a wide face,so I know what you dealing with.

Native Eyewear Ignition Interchangeable Sunglasses - Polarized

February 26, 2009

Lavanda;Initions are cool shades, but I think they are for small faces. You might need a wide face style, like Nano 2,or Native's with XP at the end of the name.Tare's will fit a larger face. You need to look at the styles to see which one you like.Dash's are for small to med. faces and may not work.

Oakley New Hybrid M Frame Replacement Lenses

February 26, 2009

Hey Nate; I guess you are referring to a mirror lens, which Oakley calls Iridium. You shouln't be able to see your eyes through them, but certain light conditions allow it. Some glasses have what they call a flash mirror, which is a real light mirror coating, and you can see through those, depending on the brand. This site has 3 lenses for replacement.

Tifosi Optics Alpe T-F480 Sunglasses

February 24, 2009

Write your answer here...Any name brand sunglasses should block UV A and B.Tifosi are good glasses. Most clear lenses will block UV if treated, and your window glass on your car will block most UV.

Native Eyewear Triumph Interchangeable Sunglasses - Polarized

February 24, 2009

Write your answer here...Hi kth; That's the way I read it. You should be right. 1 pol. light-1 pol.dark in cluded-othr 3 non pol.extra. Native seems to have different lens combinations for each style. You're lucky to get 2 pol. lenses with these shades. Replacement lenses that I saw were 35-60 dollars each, with the pol. the most money. Set of 3- non pol. should be cheaper.Cool shades with good reviews.

Tifosi Optics Alpe T-F480 Sunglasses

February 24, 2009

Write your answer here...Any name brand sunglass will have UV protection; even a clear lens or a car winshield will block most UV. Tifosi is a good brand. They make a photochromic lens called phototec.

Native Eyewear Dash SS Interchangeable Sunglasses - Polarized

February 24, 2009

Write your answer here...Hi; From what I could find, you get 1-3 extra lenses with some Native glasses. Clear, yellow, or orange are not polarized- cost savings you know. Tare can come with 3 lenses. The Dash's I looked at didn't have an extra lens. Call Backcountry orNative's web site to be sure. Good luck. If you want extra polarized lenses, they may sell them to you.

Maui Jim Pele Sunglasses

February 18, 2009

Hi Brad; I have a wide face as well and it can be challenging. I'm not too familiar with the Maui Jim line, but their glasses are polarized,I believe. Square or modified square lens sunglasses that might work for you are Serengti Nimbus,Serengeti Zina, Columbia River High Route 7030,and Coyote Santa Fe. Coyote Sedona wraparound Polarchromatics will work great for a wide face. Those Oakley Mag Four's on sale at this site may be big enough for you.Good luck. Mark
