the new ones are completely different run much smaller & narrower so you might make out okay on sizeing - however they do not hold up...

I've been wearing this shoe for 10 years as a work shoe. ( and the scarpa nitro also no longer made )I'm a horse trainer & walk 5-6 miles a day over hills & uneven ground. My last 2 pairs of this new version didn't make it past 2 month & the fit isn't nearly as supportive, After the 1st pair died so quickly I thought it was because hydrolic fluid got spilled on them but my next pair didn't do any better...bummer for sure .

I've been wearing scarpa nitro's for years & can't find anything else like them ! I also wear salomons trail shoes as I work outside & average 5-6 mi. a day uphill & down but I really need the support of the hiker...any suggestions? Cassie
