Rossignol S86 Ski
December 6, 2010
i have these in the 178cm length and after spending two days on them, i can say that this is a solid one ski quiver. i ski tahoe and this past weekend put the S86s thru crud, groomers, light pow (~3-4"), and even ice patches. the low sidecut radius makes turning a breeze and the early rise tip and tail really help dampen vibration. i was riding the Line Prophet 100s before these and consider the S86 head and shoulders above that ski. can't speak to the models you listed in your question, but these are really great skis.

Line Prophet 90 Alpine Ski
February 17, 2009
i am a former advanced skier but have been boarding for the past 13 years. i'm wanting to get back to skis and have heard great things about the prophet 90. terrain-wise i mostly hit up Tahoe, do about 60% groomers, 30% pow/trees, 10% park. i'm 5'9" 140lbs. does the prophet 90 in a 179cm seem about right for me? maybe i should go shorter since i'm just getting back into skiing?

i am a former advanced skiier who has been boarding for the past 13 years and looking to get back into skiing. i'm in the sierras most of the time, do probably 60% groomers, 30% pow/trees, 10% park. would this be a good choice for me to get back in the game?
