After seeing this as an 08 and 09 Best Buys; I thought I should give it a try. This is a great light. Compact design, folding legs to put it anywhere or hang it - great dimming flexibility!

After seeing the '08 Best Buy' for this headlamp I thought I would give a try. This is a great headlamp. Everything I needed and the light was always where it needed to be - and bright!

It seems to work well, and passed testing for western bears (those NY bears sound like they were raised up in some pretty bad 'hoods and are not to be trifled with). My only complaint was pinching the lock tabs with cold fingers on cold plastic (temps in the teens). But it worked and nothing broke. Now, just to find a western bear with attitude to test it on! just kidding.

After seeing a 'Best Buy' for the Terra 40, I thought I'd try the 60. I finally had an opportunity to try the Lg (3850) on a trip up Pikes Peak. Plenty of space, pockets and straps. The suspension was great as it started out around 50lbs fully loaded (ouch, I hate winter treks) - but it rode very comfortably (I'm 6'3). The only thing I could have asked for was a Sherpa. Great pack.

I just used this bag on a early season snowy trip up Pikes Peak and during a blustery storm with temps in the low teens, the bag just worked. It's a little tight around the feet, but overall was a good fit (I'm 6'3x190). The stuff sac is a bit tight, but it works. The 'Eco' footprint is cool too.

I just picked up a set as a last minute item prior to a 3-day winter summit up Pikes Peak. I expected to use the small 3-pc compact size for my pack, but I kept them out the entire time; they were exceptional for my knees getting down. The locks just worked, and worked very well. The poles are expandable to just about any length one would want; quite compact, very sturdy and reasonably priced.
