I don't have a specific weight for you, but it isn't heavy by any means, but, it isn't exactly a windbreaker either. It's on the thin side - I haven't tested it in the cold so I can't vouch for how well/poorly it will hold up to the Midwest winters!!

You'll have to layer a lot, this is just an unlined raincoat. --------------------There is a lining but it isn't intended to provide warmth.

I have two disappointments with the product: 1) The sole is a foam consistency (concern: durability/longevity) and 2) The shoes don't "hug" the heel so they tend to slip off the heel occassionally while in motion - at least for me!

Good stuff: The insole is soft and spongy insole which, along with the foam sole, makes them quite comfortable.

For me, negs outweigh the pros.
