Mountain Hardwear Talus Pant - Men's

July 13, 2009

When the pants "stretch" out after a period of time do they return to normal after washing? Or are they "hammer" pants from then on?

SmartWool PhD Outdoor Mid Crew Sock

SmartWool PhD Outdoor Mid Crew Sock

Rating for this product: 5 February 23, 2009

I LOVE these socks. Great cushioning and wrap around your foot great. The odor blocking wool is nice after a long hike , so your feet don't smell like (insert something stinky).

Gregory Baltoro 70 Backpack - 4149-4638cu in

Great pack. Bought this for a trip in the Sierras as my old pack was a piece of crap. The pivoting belt works great and moves with you perfectly. It really made 40lbs feel more like 20lbs.All the pockets really help me keep all my thins organized and at the ready. I cant wait to take this to Alaska and back to the Sierras in the summer and find out more good things about it. Sure you can find less expensive packs, but really if you want quality you gotta pay for it and YOU CAN"T GO WRONG HERE!!

Arc'teryx Theta AR Jacket - Men's - DO NOT USE

Arc'teryx Theta AR Jacket - Men's - DO NOT USE

Rating for this product: 5 February 18, 2009

Love this jacket! Got lucky and got it for 50% off at my local retailer. I had no intention of buying it until I tried it on. It just fit perfectly. I like how its cut and how the back is a tad longer so you have something to sit on if its wet.It keeps me perfectly warm by just throwing a base layer underneath. My only 2 gripes are the hood adjustments and pockets. Without a helmet on you have a lot of fabric to cinch and its a bit "clunky". i like the adjustment on my Marmot hoods better. I also wish the pockets had some kid of hand warmer fabric in them, nothing to thick though. All in all AWESOME jacket!

Marmot Swallow 2-Person 3-Season Tent

Marmot Swallow 2-Person 3-Season Tent

Rating for this product: 4 February 18, 2009

Love this tent. Very east to set up and i like all the different ways you can set this up. Last time I used it, I was in Yosemite, and it rained 4 out of the 5 days i used it and not a single drop got inside. the fly vents are great and wouldn't want another tent unless they had em. Overall great tent just wished it was a couple lbs lighter.

Mountain Hardwear Switch 20 Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Synthetic

Rating for this product: 5 February 18, 2009

Slept right out in the open under the stars and slept toasty. I also like the extra room you get when unzipping the extender. It only got down to about 35* so don't know how it holds up lower than that. For the $.....great product.
