Well the answer is both. G10MX is a cool metallic shiny white.
In the G10 (not MX) you can buy matte white exploded argyle or white (shiny).

Giro Tuneups Audio Drops

If you buy a 2010 Giro snow helmet get the TuneUp Drops, they are compatible with all NEW Giro adult snow helmets. The earpad of the 2010 helmets have a velcro pocket that yo drop the "drops" in and go. If you have an older model helmet get the original tuneups.

The Tune ups w/ bluetooth link is for you blue tooth enabled cell phone and hard wired mp3 player.
If you want to use your 2 way radio that is an different tune up call 2 way radio link.
