I loooove this bag. It has a bunch of pockets and sections to keep me organized. The padded straps help cushion heavy loads. And I still can't get over how cool the fleece-lined pockets are! They're perfect for sunglasses, phone, iPod, USB drives, etc. My only beef is that the chest straps don't go up high enough for me to use them. Obviously not built for curvy women...

not a school/work/laptop bag

Lafuma Eco 28 Backpack - 1700cu in

Lafuma Eco 28 Backpack - 1700cu in

Rating for this product: 2 March 5, 2009

this bag looked great on "paper" - waterproof, made from hemp and recycled plastic - but i'm returning it because it won't work for me for school/work. this is a backpacking pack made with thin, plastic fabric, one large main compartment and a frame - not very laptop friendly. it comes with a waterproof cover, as it is not waterproof on its own. it also doesn't look like it's made of hemp. the tag inside says "100% polyamide" and nothing that came with the bag mentions hemp at all. basically, this is a plastic backpacking bag, so if that's what you're looking for, great, but if it's not, pick something else. i am.
