Poor Quality

Vasque Summit GTX Backpacking Boot - Men's

One of the speed hooks fell out after only four days of use. Customer service is also poor. Vasque is owned by Red Wing and the company has not responded to my warranty request. The last three pairs of Vasque boots I've owned all had significant problems within the first three months of use. Vasgue boots do not have the same quality construction as the past. Look at another manufacture for quality footwear.

Mid Sole Failure

Vasque Wasatch GTX Backpacking Boot - Men's

The boots are comfortable but the mid sole cracked completely through in three months of use. Customer serviceis also poor. Vasque is owned by Red Wing with little or no response to customer service requests. Relying on past good experience with Vasque boots I purchased a pair of Vasque Summit's as a replacement to the Wasatch boots. Same poor quality issues. One of the speed hooks fell off within the first four days of use.
