Simply glove. Soft, warm, good fit, good grip. Maybe a little thicker than I was expecting, a heavier-weight glove liner.

Really cant go wrong with these.

Sick jacket!

MontBell Ultralight Thermawrap Jacket - Men's

MontBell Ultralight Thermawrap Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 11, 2009

I am 5-8, 133 lbs, and a size small fits me great. This is a slimmer fitting jacket but allows for good movement. I would say the coverage is a little small (waist and sleeve length) for climbing, but perfect fit for other activities.Warmth- This thing just feels warm, I would say easily warmer than a mid-weight fleece. The insulation seams instantly warm when you put the jacket on, but I am yet to have a problem with overheating.I think this will make a great winter layer, but I feel its best use will be backpacking: Super lightweight, packs into its pocket (or included stuff sack), wind/weather resistance. For technical wear, this easily replaces my fleece jackets,... and it looks good too.A little on the expensive side, but the weight savings and added weather resistance are worth every penny.

Runs small,

Backcountry.com Shift Welder Hoody - Men's

Backcountry.com Shift Welder Hoody - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 21, 2009

I am 5'8", 135 lbs, slim build. I bought a small jacket and ended up returning it. The small fit me OK, it was not skin tight but there was zero extra space- no room for anything other than a base layer without an uncomfortable body-hugging fit.

I am just writing this review to give people a heads up on the size. If you plan to layer at all with this, I would definitely go a size up.

Norrøna /29 Warm1 Fleece Jacket - Men's

Norrøna /29 Warm1 Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 21, 2009

This jacket is sick. Stylish euro-look, and an athletic fit. I am 5'8", 135 lbs, slim build, and a small fits me great. Not much extra bulk, but enough room for a base layer or t-shirt.Quality is top notce too, easily my favorite fleece. The only con is that the zipper zips from the left side instead of the right. Not a problem at all once you get used to it.

Mountain Hardwear Quark Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Quark Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 10, 2009

Just got back from a trip in the Bob Marshall wilderness. Got rained out the last couple days, and the jacket performed great. The fabric did not soak through after hours of hiking in moderate to heavey rain. The breathability was very impressive. When hiking with a full pack, opening the vents just partially provided enough ventalition to keep me from sweating. This is easily the most breathable jacket I have ever used. The stretch makes for a very versatile fit, and I feel the fabric is quite durable for its weight.

I am 5'8", 135 lbs, slim build. A medium fits me perfect (I usually wear a small). Not too baggy over a t-shirt, and works well over a sweatshirt or fleece.

Fantastic jacket!

Norrøna Narvik Soft Shell Jacket - Men's

Norrøna Narvik Soft Shell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 2, 2009

Just received the jacket, and am initially VERY impressed. The quality of construction seems to be on par with or better than anything I have ever used or seen before. The fabric feels very durable inside and out. Although the fleece lining is not very soft, it feels fine against skin, and looks like it will hold up better than traditional fleece linings. The wrist gaiters fit better and feel more durable than others I have had in the past.

The weather resistance looks to be very good, I ran the sleeve under the sink for quite some time, even allowing the water to pool, and it did not soak through at all, the DWR repelled every bead of water. I would say the rain resistance will be above average for DWR, I feel I could easily weather a short downpour in this jacket.

I am 5'8", 140 lbs, slim build and I wear a small. The cut seams to be in-between regular and athletic, with a good amount of stretch. Good fit both with t-shirt and a mid-weight fleece. The Caviar fabric is a little more gray than it appears in pictures.

However the info for this jacket should be updated. The seams are double-stitched, and don't appear to be welded. There are 2 hand pockets, 2 sleeve pockets, 2 pit vents, 1 inner chest pocket, and a removable powder skirt. The hood fits good and has a wired brim, (feels like plastic).

Great value, highly recommended!
