I'm a wandering Wildlife Biologist who tries to experience everything the wild has to offer. I don't wear make up, i don't color my hair, i can't stand high heels and i sometimes don't take showers for weeks (i.e. when backpacking or living out of my truck). My partner in crime is my dog Decker. He's been all over the west and has seen more of the wilderness than most people I know. Lucky dog. I love backcountry snowboarding, backpacking, kayaking, hiking, and anything else that tests your limits. woo!

Ortovox X1 Avalanche Beacon

I've read other reviews on different websites stating that this beacon is hard to use (basically pinpointing the location) and will not work with multiple victims. Has anyone else heard the same thing? I see everyone else says it's excellent. I'm just confused as to who I should listen to.... Thanks!
