Metolius always produces quality products. I have yet to find something from this company that I didn't like. These gloves are no exception. They fit great, are made from durable materials, and will last me a long time.

The fleece is decent quality and the shell is completely waterproof. It'll keep you warm on cold days and dry on wet ones. If you want one jacket for multiple purposes, this is a great one. The fleece zips out so that you can use the fleece and shell individually, which is usually how I go. It easily zips back in for a single, connected jacket.

The downside is the weight, if you'll be doing any backpacking or other activities where weight is an issue. It doesn't pack down small and it's on the heavy side of things.

The Marmot Ridgetop is the jack of all trades, but master of none. It's not the best fleece on the market, or the best shell. It does however perform great under a variety of conditions and is a solid piece to add to your collection. It is VERY durable too.

I have since moved on to more specialized pieces of gear to better suit my needs. Having said that, I would recommend this jacket to anyone who needs a solid multi-use jacket.

Side note: The shell shares the same size zipper as my Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man fleece. I can zip it into the shell for a pretty amazing fleece / shell combination. The only downside is that the monkey man doesn't have the small loops on the sleeves to hold them in place. The only time this really plays a factor is when putting on or taking off the jacket.

This is a great shoe for beginner to intermediate climbers. Comfort fit with padded tounge. I use them for my guiding service. They are pretty darn durable too. If you like lace ups instead, check out the La Sportiva Scorpion, it's pretty much the same shoe.

I've had this product for a few years. I keep it uppacked in my jeep for car camping and road naps. It has maintained just as much loft as when I puffed it out on day one. Quality product that will last. It has great loft for it's size as well. I have yet to find a better camp pillow.

Keeps my hands warm on climbing trips. Simple and does the job.

Burly, bomber and nice. Only thing lacking is a stabilizer for the bottom of bag, but that's a personal preference thing. Easy to load and easy to carry. Great bag.

I finally traded up to the Arc'teryx R320 and I'll never go back. So comfy that I often forget that I have it on. I can't tell you how many days I've walked back to the car after a day of cragging, only to realize that I never took it off. Nice to hang in and when you're buddy is hanging on his project for 30 minutes, the belay is still pretty comfortable.

I have a size 30 waist and I went with a medium. It fits good with the waist cinched up fully. I could have easily gone with a small though. (only difference really would be no dangling webbing which I tuck out of the way anyways.)

I love these harnesses for taking out groups. I bought five and I'll probably buy five more. The speed buckle system is great and they are morecomfortable and easier to put on than any other universal fit harnes that I've tried or owned.

Best affordable helmet on the market in my opinion. Good fit adjustment and bomber construction.

Sweet little pillow. The small is a little small, but that's all that was in stock when I ordered mine. Still worth it. Comfy pillow. Just let it fluff up and you're good to go.

I wanted a nice helmet for guiding and I got it. Not the coolest looking helmet on the planet, but great contruction and nice fitting adjustments. Way better than the meteor in my opinion.

You see this thing at every sport crag in the world for a reason. Great solid product and easy to use. A+.

I prefer my beal, but this'll do. It handles well and looks pretty out of the package. It started to turn my hands black after about 4 pitches. it gets dirty reaaaaall easy.

What more could you ask for? I'm a dirtbag climber and I live off of pre packaged food and canned food on trips. This thing heats it up quick and is easy to clean. Don't ask any questions. Just buy it.
