  • Stomping Grounds:

    Fort Campbell KY for now
  • Bio:

Being in the army for 9 years now, I have turned into a trail running, mountain biking madman. Honestly though, who doesn't love the cool morning air and a great sunrise to greet you in the morning after a good 5 or 6 mile run??

Backcountry.com Prime Power Stretch Top - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Backcountry.com Prime Power Stretch Top - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 March 5, 2009

I have had this for a little over a month now and like stated before, it's really warm and I like to just wear it around as a light jacket at times. but it does have a problem with the seams coming undone..very bad at the cuffs of the sleeves..but it's a good light duty top nothing to great about it. I would have given more stars if the stiching was more secure.

Backcountry.com Backcountry Logo T-Shirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 March 5, 2009

I ordered the shirt in a medium and washed it in cold water, thinking it would be a little sung...I'm 5'8" 170 lbs.. and turns out it was big on me so I went back and washed it in cold water to shink it down a bit. the shirt rocks for just about anything...I run in it mostly.. i think it's just kinda hit or miss with this shirt, but I would still say get it if your heart is set on buying this one.

CamelBak M.U.L.E. Hydration Pack -3L

CamelBak M.U.L.E. Hydration Pack -3L

Rating for this product: 4 February 10, 2009

I was issued one of these camelbaks during OIF II with the Desert pattern. I used it for many different things; carrying extra small equipment like batteries to a small book and a few other small Items when I went on RnR leave. I still use it when I ride my bike and backpack around the Fort Campbell area. The MULE pack is cool on your back even on the hottest days, the ventilation slats on the pack itself are a nice touch and adds to the padding as well. The only down side I have found is that if you fill it up too much, the hydration bladder has a tendency to leak

Backcountry.com Prime Power Stretch Beanie

Backcountry.com Prime Power Stretch Beanie

Rating for this product: 5 February 10, 2009

I have to admit that when I first got this beanie that it looked just a tad bit to small, but I went a head and put it through one of my PT sessions while I was in Iraq. It kept my head warm and didn't itch like the old wool caps. I wear this thing everywhere now when It it's cold and it's stylin' too.

Pearl Izumi Syncro Seek 2 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Pearl Izumi Syncro Seek 2 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 February 3, 2009

I was given a pair of these shoes for christmas last year when I was in Iraq and they are like a dream come true. The shoe fits prefectly and the heel doesn't slip at all, not to agressive sole, but it does have alot of grip. The only down side to them is the durability, I'm kinda hard on shoes but they lasted me a year over there and the opnly thing I have wrong with them is I have a few tears in the mesh on the shoe, but other than that they rock!

Good Boot

Oakley SI Assault 6in Boot - Men's

Oakley SI Assault 6in Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 February 3, 2009

I have a pair of these boots and they rock so hard! The boot feels like a running shoe and the sole is not to hard like regular issue boots, plus having the shorter boot is more comfortable..to me anyway.. One gripe abot them is the fact if you get in mud, they get a little slick, but easy to clean off of the sole and boot.

Under Armour Coldgear Crew Midweight Long Underwear Top - Men's

Under Armour Coldgear Crew Midweight Long Underwear Top - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 2, 2009

I have a few of these shirts that I took with me to Iraq and they held up great! I didn't get to hot or to cold while I was out on partols. The shirts are not bulky at all, I can layer other cold weather items and still be able to move around and get to the things I need. This is a must have item if your going overseas or for someone you know going over.

Brunton Classic Map Compass

honestly I forgot I had this in my Land Nav kit after my lensatic compass died on me. Better than mil-spec stuff small, lightweight, and easy to read... even with little light.
