I would first like to note that the acorn color is not nearly as yellow as it appears in the picture. It is much more of a dark khaki. I am moderately tall and moderately lean with long legs, and I was pleased that the size 6 fit well with plenty of length. I could see these pants being useful from rafting trips and hikes to, after washing, wearing to work. They are quite comfortable and nice looking. They do, however, have a tremendous amount of static, which makes them miss a star. The picked up a good chunk of the roommate's dog's hair from just a brief try on, and I'm living at pretty low elevations, i.e. sea level, where static is not a problem.
