Stomping Grounds:
Enjoy the Appalachian Mountains and Adirondacks -
Bio:
I spring out of bed each morning and greet the day with only the most zealous desire to hit the trail. Then I go to the office, sit in a grey flourescent lit cubicle where I can, if I'm lucky, sneak a look at Backcountry.com. On lunch I walk in a paved parking lot or maybe even hike in the Pine Bush which will soon be used for a landfill. The glories of workaday life upstate NY just never cease to amaze me.

Use your real name to add some legitimacy to your content. Real names mean real community, and real community means real knowledge. Gear Gurus who use their real names get bumped up 1.5x for each contribution - you deserve the credit. For more info check out the Help Center.
This is how you compare to all the other Gear Gurus on Backcountry.com. You earn one point for each list / review / question / answer / gear photo / comments / votes you contribute. You gain an extra point every time someone gives one of your contributions a thumbs up, but you lose a point for every thumbs down. Sierra Designs Hurricane Full Zip Rain Pant - Men's
March 20, 2009
The trouble with full zip is that sometimes the front and rear waist belts are not connected because the zip goes all the way up. Does this have one belt that goes round, or is it split b/c of the full zipper?

Patagonia Rain Shadow Jacket - Men's
February 20, 2009
Do users out there think that this product will be good for summer hiking? I have a heavy winter gore-tex and just ordered this for summer (and some spring/fall) hiking. Thanks!
