i love these skis for what theyre made for.. the park and all around fun.. very low swing weight with a soft flexing but responsive ride is a good description.. EP did nice with these by putting a really deep sidecut and making them much quicker edge to edge than u would think.. if youre looking for a playful park ski u can definetly ride all over the hill pick them up..

Hey nwskier if your under 160 lbs you can use the lizzies everywhere and you'll be fine but if youre bigger go for the stiffer bacon .. Also where you ski, your style , how much you rip..those will factor in on your desicion.

K2 ObSETHed Alpine Ski

August 18, 2009

I'm a 5'8 185 lb aggressive skier that wants to add this ski to my arsenal.. I have a line blend at 168 (which I feel is way short), an anthem at 171 and an Elizabeth at 172. I'm leaning towards the 179 with a marker schizo setup for my Snowbird and Jackson trips this season to charge around and swing through trees with. Usually I wouldn't ask but would this be to much ski to throw around because I heard they measure or feel longer than labeled..? Any thoughts appreciated.. Thanks.

Line Blend Alpine Ski

March 18, 2009

This ski is very light because of it's core so don't worry about wieght in the blends.. The geometry is freeride and I don't like them in the park because of the stiff tails but it doesn't mean you can't take them there.. If your still growing go bigger in length .. I have many in my quiver so I'm picky on what I take out that day.. Bottom line is blend is a great all mountain groomer and shallow pow ski I love to shred on.

Line Anthem Alpine Ski

March 18, 2009

I ride the anthems on the east coast and love em' ... They are soft enough for hits and jibs and wide enough to cut through crud.. You may want to wait to see next seasons Afterbang to come out heard it a sick. Check it out. Also if u get the anthem or any symetrical ski go a bigger to compensate for tip length.. I have quite a few pairs of skis and also enjoy the armada ar6 .. Another great ski.

Rating for this product: 5 March 11, 2009

Sickkk ski.. Well said momentum.. If interested in anthem go for it . It a great all around ski .. Go bigger in length to compromise for center mount .. Super fun ski that makes switch riding simple .. Find myself doing a lot of butters and snappy 180s everywhere.

Armada AR6 Alpine Ski

March 10, 2009

Personally the AR but it's up to you manThe first 2 and last 3 are in different catagories.. The extremes and the ar6 are great park skis that you can get around nicely all over the mountain.. The blendss and bridges are all mountain skis you can take in the park but are much stiffer . The prophets have metal in them and might be a bit stiff in the park. A larger ar6 might be what you want super flexi and lots of park fun.

Solid

Line Blend Alpine Ski

Line Blend Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 January 30, 2009

The blend is a great all around ski.. Fat enough for a couple feet of pow and nimble enough for sharper turns on groomers. Nice in the park but better all mountain is better.. If one ski is all that's in your budget this one is good for you.. Really deep pow will be easier with a 110 waist and less camber or slight rocker. Also the blends are one of the sickest looking skis on the mountain.

Line Anthem Alpine Ski

January 24, 2009

Get the 178, with it being center mounted it will ski short and you will have more float in powder, if you go 171 it will be good for park but not as good elsewhere, don't worry about being 125lbs. they are soft skis so you won't have any problem also you might gain some weight.Wooah slow down. 178 is going to be HUGE if you're 5'8" I'm closer to 5'11" and I'm riding the 171's (anthems) and they are actually pretty long! You'd have trouble throwing around a 178 in the park. and for how they float, I honestly don't float all that well. But I'm way bigger than you, at 185 pounds and 5'11"... I just find myself leaning back so much to compensate for the massive tail behind me pushing me forward into the pow. Pretty much, you can't really ski pow ALL that well when your ski is mounted center unless you go with a rockered ski. The new ski everyone has their eyes on is the Moment Reno Rocker... I've heard good things about it, and I'll probably be getting a pair pretty soon, because a rocker is good for pretty much all aspects of skiing except for groomers. And this is the first park specific rockered ski. It makes switch ups and spinning on rails easier because you don't catch your tips. But as for the anthems, they are alright skis, not too heavy, not to bad in the park, their cheap, but there are better skis out there.
