Marmot Scree Softshell Pant - Men's

Marmot Scree Softshell Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 2 days ago

Fairly water resistant, most stuff beads off, but wouldnt wear them in a rain storm.

Sized small, so go a size up (marmot likes em tight). I am a 34-35inch waist and size L was super tight on me arse. I have a 35inch inseam and regular length is suitable.

They are super stretchy.... pretty breathable. Wore them in 15-20 degree temps with light baselayer underneath, solid temperature regulation. Threw on a shell when I got to camp as was comfortable.

Marmot Genesis Softshell Jacket - Men's

Marmot Genesis Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 9, 2009

Sweet jacket. Been eyeing this up for a year now so I ordered one up when I saw it for 195 at buckmans.com ... came in yesterday. It oozes fantastic quality. I love it. Very comfortable with a super soft linings. It seems fairly warm as I wore it today with just cotton longsleeve underneath in 15 degree breezy weather and was fine walking to lunch but i wouldnt want to stand still like that for long. It has a bit of stretch, too. As a 6'4 205 lb guy I got the XL, large was too short in the body. If I could change anything I would offer it in tall/long sizing and have a zip out powder skirt.

Exped Mat Cover Pro

Exped Mat Cover Pro

Rating for this product: 3 December 8, 2009

Probably gonna return this...

The synmat 7 dlx itself stuffs to 12X6 or so, and this cover rolls up to something like 29x6 (29x4 with 1 layer of foam) or 29x8ish wish the mat inside. I guess I could strap it to the bottom of my backpack, but I dont like stuff sticking far out the sides of my pack. I wish I had seen Exped's website because the OR website doesnt have these specifics.

this board is so so sickly

Lib Technologies 1986 Snow Mullet BTX Snowboard

Lib Technologies 1986 Snow Mullet BTX Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 February 10, 2009

I love this board. Im 6'4, 220lbs - went for the 172. So sick in powder and tears it up carving on groomers. Super stable at lightspeeds on groomers, too. Tail is poppy, feels good. A bit weird riding switch, of course (tail is over an inch narrower than the nose). The narrow tail makes it pretty easy to whip around, good for tight trees and whatnot. I absolutely love this board. Was my first btx/magne board. I dont think i'll ever ride anything without rocker again. hard to notice the magnetraction but i guess it works. Took about 3 runs to get used to the btx and after that its gravy. I bought a rider's choice 166wide to go with it, perfect 2 board quivver, wont need anything else.

Ride Contraband Snowboard Binding

gonna buy a second pair. They lock the heel and toe down while still having plenty of movement front to back (nose to tail). I think the v-strap needs 1 more notch in all the adjustments though.

I ride them everywhere. park to pow.

Burton Ak 2L Cyclic Jacket - Men's

Burton Ak 2L Cyclic Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 10, 2009

I bought brite white denim. The denim material is heavy/tough. By no means a packable jacket. Brite white might get dirty pretty fast but thats the cost of admission for a snow ninja (makes me want some white tigercamo pants). Good pockets. Love the collar, the lining is super soft, although i wish it went all through the hood. Pockets good, plenty internal for mp3, cell, etc. Love the zip-link to my pants. Lifetime Warranty. I'm 6'4 215lbs and decided to go with Large and it fits good plenty of room for layers. I dont like a lot of extra bulk, i like my shit to fit without a lot of baggy. Wore it on a sunny 33 degree day with just a tshirt underneath and was good (i'd rather be a little bit cold, than a little too warm and sweaty). I kinda miss wrist gaiters, but no big deal.

Spy Soldier Goggles

Spy Soldier Goggles

Rating for this product: 4 February 10, 2009

Wasnt impressed with the crowbars (pinched my nose, lenses costly). I love these soldiers though. Persimmon lens is pretty good, lots of contrast. I also bought a yellow lens for flat days, and it works ok but i now want to try the rose shade. LOng live Spy. I'll probably buy another pair with a mirrored bright light lens.

Lib Technologies 1986 Snow Mullet BTX Snowboard

Check out the Burton P1, Rome Targas, or the Flux Super diamonds. I have the Ride Cads, which are dope too for my Dark series BTX.>>> ride contrabands are also very sick imo, plenty of heel-toe support/lockdown with a good amount of nose-tal flex > wes
