Great Pants

The North Face Freedom Insulated Pant - Men's

The North Face Freedom Insulated Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 10, 2009

Mine are now a year old and still holding up well. Used these last year about 30 times at Lake Tahoe. They were surprisingly warm on those cold windy days and on the warmer Spring days worked well by opening the side vents. They are very water proof and still holding up a year later. They tend to run baggy, now that I gained a few they are fitting just right, which is not a good thing :) Only reason for my 4/5 star review is they changed colors on me! I bought the pumice gray and now have faded into a light gray with a purple hue. Not a big deal, but they don't match my jacket now.

6'2" 200 lbs with my size 32-33' waist the Large size was baggy, had to use a belt. I have a 35" waist now and they fit fine.

Great Ski, Great Price

Salomon Lord Ski

Salomon Lord Ski

Rating for this product: 5 March 18, 2009

Had these bad boys in Tahoe the week it dumped 8 feet of snow!!! These did amazing in the fresh powder and bumps. I did have some trouble the day it dropped 3.5 feet, but hell, a surf board wouldn't have been wide enough. I do not recommend these for East coast skiers that have to deal with the ice, but for you who are lucky enough to enjoy the powder and fresh corduroy, these are killer.

I'm 6"2' and 200 lbs bought the 177's and paired them with the Salomon STH 12 bindings (what a great fit and look).

I was lucky enough to buy the Lords when they were 50% off here at Backcountry (got them for around $385).

Nice pant's but BIG

The North Face Freedom Pant - Men's

The North Face Freedom Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 March 18, 2009

Kept me very dry skiing with 8 feet of snow in a week. Kept me warm in temps above 20F but I would wear extra if it was below that. Cargo pocket is nice, great for a trail map or wallet.

Only complaint is they are HUGE! I'm 6'2" and 200 lbs with a 32 inch waist line . . . the velcro is as tight as it gets and I wear a belt to prevent them from falling down. I kinda look like a boarder with saggy and baggy pants. I would get another pair again but this time I would size down.

Nice goggles

Dragon DX Goggles w/ Ionized Lens

Dragon DX Goggles w/ Ionized Lens

Rating for this product: 5 March 18, 2009

I bought the white w/ pin stripes and they look great. The lens is silver but looks yellow when in direct light, great for low-medium sun light conditions. Came with a pair of ambers for the low vis days. They fit pretty well, I have a large head, I wish the peripheral vision was a little more. Only time they fog up is when they were on my head or I'm not moving, had some issues on a really cold day in which the condensation sorta froze up on me.

On a side note, they pair nicely with my white Giro MX10 helm.
