Big Trouble, new design-same ski

Dynastar Big Trouble Limited Alpine Ski

Dynastar Big Trouble Limited Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 4 January 19, 2009

This is a great ski for the price. I have these as a set of AT/Rando skis w/marker dukes. I'm 5'10 170 lbs. and have the 186. Here's the breakdown: They are stiff, and I love that. They are heavy (need legs), and I like that too. If you are a groom skier these are not the skis for you. If you like the bumps, these are not for you. But if you like new tracks (4-40+ inches) then these are a great bargain. They ride fast (stiff) and they have a good cut.

BEST AT/RANDO BINDINGS

Marker Duke Ski Binding

Marker Duke Ski Binding

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2009

These bindings are tanks. Yes, they are bit heavier, but they will last you. The naxo bindings seem to blow out, and can't take the stress that I deliver. I really love this pair and use them in the backcountry as well as on the slopes. If you have issue on weight, rethink because there is nothing more annoying than blowing your bindings when skiing through deep snow.

Zeal Detonator Polarized Photochromatic Goggle

Zeal Detonator Polarized Photochromatic Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2009

I got these in Carbon, and love them! Although my face is medium (style fits M-L), they are a bit on the large size, for my face. But perfect with a helmet. Because I'm a tad vain, I got the Dominator (S-M) for the w/out helmet days. Seriously, the clarity is amazing! Best goggles I have ever had.
