Great...but apparently bendable

Primus EtaPower Pot - 1.7L

Primus EtaPower Pot - 1.7L

Rating for this product: 4 June 18, 2009

I got this just prior to entering the BWCA for 5 days. It boiled water VERY quickly, in about 33% less time than the 'regular' camp pot I used to use. The handle is slick, lid sits sturdily atop, and the pot's coating is truly non-stick. BUT...it was near the bottom of my canoe pack on the trip out and on its side. By the time I got home to unpack, it was, well, more oval shaped than round. Never really considered that compression straps on my canoe pack and/or the weight of what was on top of it may bend it. It's so soft that I was able to bend it back easily to 'nearly' round... Now the lid (which did not bend) fits too tight to get it off safely. Yes, I'd still recommend buying this pot, but I'll be much more careful packing it from now on.

Great starter boots

DC Phase Snowboard Boot - Men's

DC Phase Snowboard Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 13, 2009

I did have to return the first pair I ordered due to size, but went a 1/2 size up and they fit great. They are soft flex, so they were great right out of the box w/o break-in pain walking or riding all day. I ride only about 10 days a year, so I'm not too worried about wear and tear (the flex REALLY getting soft), but I might if I was a more consistent rider. Comfortable, feel sturdy, did not get cold in a 0 degree MN evening ride, and the price was right. I'd recommend them to a friend w/ similar annual ride numbers, but might hesitate to an avid rider.
