The North Face Cooper's Hill Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 12, 2009

My last name is Cooper so I had to get these shoes. Aside from that they really do perform well.

I have a bit of experience running at the ultra level and I train in these shoes 3-4 days a week on a double track mountain bike trail in the local national forest.

I love these shoes. I wish that they came with the BOA lacing system as an option, but the flat strings make for a taught, easy lacing system. They afford great traction in loose sand, soil, and muddy terrain and after several days of running they don't feel heavy or cumbersome. They do great for efficient runners such as myself considering they only come in one width.

They are not a paved surface shoe by any means, but for the trail, mountain, or dirt road your investment in these shoes is sure to pay off. I run a lot of unimproved trails that have brush, scree, and debris and they do great on those trails as well. My next pair will without a doubt be another pair of these along with the Gore TEX pair for serious mud runs.

No other company out there makes trail running shoes that compare to The North Face. Especially compared to these.
