Stoic Somnus 30 Sleeping Bag: 30 Degree Down

Not an answer for you, but for what it's worth Backpacker Magazine called it the "Warmest" summer bag in their 2011 gear guide. As opposed to ultralight, most versatile, innovative, etc.
I too would like to know though, I just contacted Stoic for an answer. We shall see if they answer.

Backcountry.com Tour Pant SE - Men's

I think everyone liked the goat... Stoic really is no match for the goat. I get asked ALL THE TIME where my backcountry "goat" hoody came from, and its because of the goat.
I am positive I would not be asked at all where the Stoic pieces came from... Good luck with your question.

For the Black pack, are the pole and axe straps still orange? Or are they now gray like in other photos I have seen. If someone knows or if a Backcountry rep could find out I would be much obliged.

Millet Super Touring Softshell Jacket - Men's
March 9, 2010
Will this softshell do well in the 30-60 degree Fahrenheit range? I''m thinking about buying this for a trip to south Alaska in June. The piece needs to be my main jacket (eVent hardshell will backup.) Average temps are 55 degrees, record low of 33 deg. I want to cover that range in something that breathes and blocks 95% of the wind. Is this the jacket? If you have a windstopper piece and a powershield piece, which do you prefer and why?
