  • Stomping Grounds:

Lake Tahoe, Montana, Washington, Oregon, BC
  • Bio:

I retired 10 years ago and have had the good fortune of enjoying life on the road in my motor coach. My two Bernese Mountain dogs travel with me as we hike the mountains, rivers and ocean cliffs all across North America.

Living life to the fullest and having a blast. The right gear makes all the difference between a great day and a disappointing day, especially when skiing. Arc'teryx is the best outdoor clothing for all my activities.

way down on these pants...great fit, true to size, great finish, quick to dry. I liked them so much that I just got a second pair.

I'm sure they're well made . . .

Arc'teryx Palisade Pant - Men's

Arc'teryx Palisade Pant - Men's

but they're just not the style of finish that I'm looking for. No flaps on pockets seemed to make the entire pant look and fit more like tights than hiking/climbing pants. I guess at 6'3" tall I just didn't feel comfortable in them...my issue, I know.
