Great except for one thing

Mountain Hardwear Typhoon Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Typhoon Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 14, 2009

I've really enjoyed this jacket since i first bought it a few months ago. It fits great is light and since its purchase it hasnt let me down. That being said there is one problem, the zippers. I wish that it came with taped zippers so they could ri of the storm flaps. Yes the arm pit zips are taped but i think that the whole jacket could benifit from all of them being fully sealed. Other then that it is a great jacket and would suggest it to anyone.

Marmot Exum Jacket - Men's

January 13, 2009

I live in northern alberta so the snow can fall like bricks and the wind some times feels like its a freight train. I use an arcteryx soft shell and the North face Stratosphere with Performance gore tex, and i was looking at the Exum to replace my northface. Is the Exum going hold up and keep me dry and most important, keep me warm. (i know it will keep me dry but i mainly want to know how will it hold to the cold winter days)

Icebreaker BodyFit 260 Crew - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Icebreaker BodyFit 260 Crew - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 12, 2009

I had the same problem as rattler, i didnt read the care intructions well and now im left with a once incrediable long sleeve to one that doesnt fit. Its a great mid layer and i know ice breaker can be pretty costly but its definitely worth it. I would suggest this sweater to anyone.

Good soft shell

Arc'teryx Venta SV Softshell Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Venta SV Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 7, 2009

Ive had a few soft shells now and nothing compares to this one, but ive also never paid so much for one either. Its a good jacket but it lowers on my scale due to price. I live in northern alberta so it gets pretty cold and the jacket hold up well. But when it droppes below -15 celsius you need a nother layer underneith and it would not hold up to the cold with out my gore-tex northface outer shell.
After all that being said, i would say its a good jacket but for the cold days you will still need to layer.

one more thing, ive found it very breathable. No problem with that at all.
