Nothing against NRS but I think you would like to have a seals skirt. The quality is there. And depending on the size of your Eclipse it would be 1.4 or 1.7

If you want a kayak that's more than 9.5 feet, then yes, it's a problem. Look I'm a big guy and I use the 9.5 more than any other boat. They are great.

I've never seen a dlx with the 9.5 and I've looked. The only difference is thigh pads and a different seat that has a little more back support. Enjoy yours trust me I love mine and I go everywhere.
