Armada ARV Alpine Ski

March 29, 2009

Hey, I'm 6 ft and about 180. I was recommended 175 by a few peeps because I plan on using this ski mainly all mountain. I have the JJ's at 185 as well.

I was planning on using the ARV's in the park and on days where there was no new snow and some mogul runs every once in a while. Thoughts?

Armada JJ Alpine Ski

January 27, 2009

i'm actually about 175. I'd say i'm a pretty good skier. I ski a lot of trees and like the ability to get the skis around quick. I just moved to CO so this season has been a real improvement year for me. I'm close to 20 days for the season and I've already experienced great improvement. additionally, it also seems like the 185's are hard to come by..i might have to wait for the off season for those...

Armada JJ Alpine Ski

January 26, 2009

fischer...how tall are you and do you think the 185's are a good size. I'm shy of 6'1 and this season i chose to ride a shorter ski as i felt like i have more control. I'm actually riding 169 twin tips...i dont feel like i've lost that much speed as i was always able to haul. I plan on sking the JJ's in the pow and doing some drops and trees etc thus i felt like maybe the 175's would be a good size. thoughts?
