rocket beanie

The North Face Rocket Beanie

The North Face Rocket Beanie

Rating for this product: 5 January 27, 2009

This beanie rocks! I just don't get it. It looks and feels like a light beanie, but it performs like a heavy beanie. It's so light you might even forget its one your head. The fleece is an added bonus because it keeps the acrylic from rubbing your forehead raw. In fact, it feels like an angel floated down from Heaven and hugged the top of your head I would deffinately recommend this beanie to anyone.

it kinda works good

The North Face Ear Gear

The North Face Ear Gear

Rating for this product: 3 January 7, 2009

These ear warmers are actually really great. The onlys things that keep me from giving this a 5 is that they are really hard to get fitted right and therefore slide around a little, and the binding on the edges make the back of the back of my neck itch. I bought this because I wanted something to keep my ears warm, but not make my head too hot. The binding is not really an issue if you have long hair, but I like to keep my hair short, even in the winter. I think I would've been better off with a beanie that will wick sweat. Think about it before you buy this. I usually like TNF, I was really disappointed this time.

awesome jacket

The North Face Nuptse Down Jacket - Men's

The North Face Nuptse Down Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 7, 2009

Tnf has won my loyality with this. It would take a lot of persuasion to get me to buy any other kind of jacket. The jacket is plenty big. TNF has found the happy medium of big enough to keep you covered and light enough that you'll actually want to wear it. I love how easy it is to move around in it. The jacket is very poofy, but compresses easily enought that you don't feel restricted. I highly recommend this jacket. If you still get cold in this jacket, you have a major problem.

The North Face WindStopper Neck Gaiter

The North Face WindStopper Neck Gaiter

Rating for this product: 3 January 7, 2009

Don't get me wrong, this gaiter will keep you warm, but my issue was with the drawcord and the overall shape. I had a hard time adjusting the drawcord wher it wouldn't hurt my face, but also stay when I needed it to. I also had truble with layering it. By the time I got my midlayer and outer jacket, there was so much bulk around my neck, that it felt like I was being choked. It gets the job done, but it doesn't get very high marks for comfort.

The North Face Logo Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

January 6, 2009

It just depends on how you like your hoody to fit. If you like em baggy, then I would suggest that you go ahead and get a large. I bought a down jacket from TNF and had to get a small, but I bought this in a medium and it fits tight enough that I can wear the two together, but still be kinda loose.

The North Face Denali Glove - Women's

The North Face Denali Glove - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 January 4, 2009

I bought this gloves about a month ago when I was looking for some new winter gear. They are really warm. Warm enough that when I get to work, my hands tiny bit sweaty. They don't offer much protection from the wind nor do they make your hands feel like they're in their own littleheated house, but they will keep your finger from freezing and becoming numb and painful. All in all, they are pretty good for the price. They could use a little more wind resistance, but they are just fine the way they are.
