Hestra Army Leather Gore-Tex XCR Glove

November 4, 2010

Just got these and they seem a little tight. I ordered a size Large (9) as that is what always seems to work for me. Does Hestra run small? I'm afraid if i order an XL (10) they may be too big.

Vail and Legend Line Spyder

Spyder Vail Jacket - Men's

Spyder Vail Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 27, 2009

I own serveral differant legend series Spyder Jackets, Aspen, Alpen, Zermatt, vail and a few others. For me the Vail and Alpen are my favorite because of the fit. I am 175 lbs. and 6 ft and the medium is a perfect fit. The Alpen being slightly more of an athletic fit. I only wish the Vail had the back pocket for storage like the Alpen and Zermatt have for hood and Sleeves. I generally us it for other stuff. FWIW -the material on the Alpen and Vail seems to be much more durable and strechier, so worth the few bucks more to me.

Great jacket if you like to layer up

Mountain Hardwear Vertical Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Vertical Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 February 2, 2009

I personally prefer a single insulated jacket. I tried the vertical to see if i would like the layering concept for alpine skiing. The MH monkey fur pull over kept me very warm as a midlayer. I am six foot 180 and the large was perfect. It come down to a personaly preferance of layering or an insulated jacket. At this time i like an insultated, but if I do ever want to got with a shell for layering this will be it. Last comment is I did miss putting my hands in a soft lined pocket instead of a plastic felling pocket, and having a softer collar feel like my Spyder Alpen has.
