Super Comfy, great bottle opener

Reef Fanning Sandal - Men's

Reef Fanning Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 16, 2009

I have had these for a few years now. They are extraordinarily comfortable for a flip flop. The bottle opener took some experimenting to figure it out, but I can now open an bottle without spilling a drop or having my drink foam over. It is perfect for the more stubborn bottles. Best of all, I was able to remove the cheap plastic opener from my key chain.

The best

Reef Fanning Sandal - Men's

Reef Fanning Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 14, 2009

I have been wearing these since they came out a few years ago. Haven't had to replace them after probably three summers now. Bottle opener is perfect once you get the hang of it.

These are the most comfortable flip flop I've ever worn. The neoprene strap is extremely comfortable. I don't plan on replacing these any time soon. When I do, it will be with the same thing.

Great fit for my pack

Granite Gear Round Rock Solid Compression Sack

Granite Gear Round Rock Solid Compression Sack

Rating for this product: 5 April 20, 2009

I have had one of these Granite Gear compression sacks ever since my first backpacking trip a little over a decade ago. It has held up well, showing virtually no signs of wear, albeit the only time that it's not inside my pack is at night. I have had multiple bags throughout the years and all types and different sizes compress very niceey into about the side of a basektball.

I'd highly recommend this for any backpacking or even just weekend camping. It's a great way to save space at the cost of only a few ounces of extra weight.

Good Pack, Very Versatile

The North Face Recon Backpack - 2015cu in

The North Face Recon Backpack - 2015cu in

Rating for this product: 4 January 7, 2009

I bought this pack when I began taking the commuter train to this past summer. I have also used it cycling and plan to use it as a day pack for hiking. The mesh breathes very well in the summer heat, and I didn't get too warm with it on while cycling. There is plenty of space for additional books or binders with a laptop in the bag. The inside organizer is great and I love the outer mesh pocket as it can expand to hold very large and bulky items such as a bicycle helmet, clothes, etc. I was worried about the mesh breaking apart, but it has held up very well. I use the water bottle pockets for my gloves and hat in the winter. I just found out that the laptop pocket also functions as a pocket for a water bladder, with a hole for the tube coming through the top of the pack, this is a great feature. This pack is great to ride on a bike with, the breast clip and waist belt keep it from sliding.

My only complaints with this pack are that the reflective foam on the back of it is very delicate and scratches and cracks easily. Secondly, there is no where to tuck away the waist strap when you aren't using it, I just buckle it and do my best to wrap the loose ends around something. When the belt is being used, the loose ends are so long that they dangle. This is especially a problem on a bicycle.

Great Product, Great Price!

Patagonia Capilene 3 Bottom - Men's

Patagonia Capilene 3 Bottom - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 7, 2009

I bought these with a Capilene 3 shirt, wore it sitting still in 20 degree weather for 4 hours and did not get cold. Also, the price is great. I couldn't find my size anywhere locally and purchased Under Armor that was $50 for the pants only. As soon as I found my size I returned the Under Armor for these which were cheaper and haven't looked back. I'm 6'1" 200lbs and the medium are a perfect fit. These also saved me some money on ski pants as I don't need ones that are insulated.

I would recommend this jacket

The North Face Odyssey Soft Shell Jacket - Men's

The North Face Odyssey Soft Shell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 2, 2009

I wore this today to the Winter Classic. I had on a Patagonia Capilene 3 base layer, a light TNF fleece and this on top and was very toasty throughout the entire game. It was 25-30 degrees with wind was constantly blowing, I wasn't cold at all. It has plenty of pockets, the goggle pocket worked perfectly for my gloves while I was using hand warmers, and actually warmed up my gloves very well. The chest pockets are great for a cell phone and wallet. I feel like I could have gotten away without the fleece today.

The North Face Freedom Pant - Men's

December 31, 2008

I am 6'1" about 200lbs and normally wear 34" jeans. I tried on the medium long and the length was good, the waist was a little tight. The large were very baggy and were loose in the waste with the waste band cinched as tight as it will go. I went with the medium.

The North Face Odyssey Soft Shell Jacket - Men's

December 29, 2008

I am 6'1" 200lbs, will a large be too bulky for me or should I go with a medium? Is a softshell supposed to fit tight or baggy?
