Mountain Hardwear G50 Softshell Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear G50 Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 8, 2009

The MH G50 is great! Use it for the commute to work, about town, on the trail, really anywhere I need a jacket. Grab it for every occation when I need a jacket.Wind is no match for the G50. Took the advice of one reviewer and put my arm out the window of my car on the highway ... just a drop of wind came through, which is to be expected going 60 mph.Rain ... not a drop. One gripe, the fleece lining around the neck does get damp because of the lack of hood, but the body of the jacket stays bone dry. We'll see when the GWR wears off.Had it since April and love it! Looking forward to see what it will be able to take on during these cold Wisconsin winters.

Swix Membrane Glove - Men's

January 3, 2009

Are these windproof as well? I tried a pair on at REI and liked them, fit well and felt warm, but didn't get a chance to try them in the elements.

Mountain Hardwear Torsion Glove

January 2, 2009

I'm a Wisconsin resident who has to deal with changing temps from below freezing to mid- and upper-30s in the winter months. How would these hold up?

The North Face Pamir Windstopper Glove - Men's

December 29, 2008

I'm a Wisconsin resident. The winters are cool to cold (ex. today it's supposed to be mid-30s with 20+ mph wind, and two weeks ago it was below zero w/wind). How would these hold up?
