Cloudveil Run Don't Walk Boxer - Men's

Cloudveil Run Don't Walk Boxer - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 4, 2009

A must for lift-served skiing. Have not tried touring in them. One thing I noticed that the fit is a bit loose. I ordered small and the waist is not as tight as I feared it might be. Not complaining, though. Very, very comfortable and warm.

Atomic Kailas Telemark Ski

January 9, 2009

Elias, thanks. I currently ski on atomic TM-EX (168cm) and love it. If I remember correctly it has 24m turning radius and because of that it is a stable speed rocket. I can still do short turns and ski trees, but high speed stability in long turns is what i appreciate the most. I am looking for eventual replacement - that's why I asked about Kailas, because I want similar qualities in my ski.

Good wind breaker

Outdoor Research Peruvian Hat

Outdoor Research Peruvian Hat

Rating for this product: 3 December 29, 2008

In general, it is a good hat - impervious to wind. There are few issues I have about it, though:

1. Because of the wind membrane, it cuts down on hearing big time.
2. If very cold - one may need a liner beanie for layering/insulation.
3. On snowy days the stitched OR logo on the forehead leaks after a while. Nowhere else, but in that spot the water seeps in.
4. If working hard, it gets a bit wet on the inside due to poor breathability.
