The North Face Annapurna 1/4-Zip Fleece Sweater - Men's

September 25, 2010

I ordered a large,  It just fits with a t-shirt underneath,  with just a little bit of room,  maybe on the snug side.  Does it run on the small size?  Would you suggest exchanging it for an XL?  I have a Scythe jacket in XL.  A little roomy to wear layers underneath,  but sleeves are a little on the long side.

The North Face Sentinel Boa Trail Running Shoe - Men's

August 26, 2010

I am a recreational trail runner. Is it worth the extra $30 for the BOA lacing system? Not sure how the longevity of the BOA lacing system is. The lacing system sure looks cool.

The North Face Apex Elixir Softshell Jacket - Men's

April 22, 2010

The XL fits nice with a long sleeve type t-shirt and a short sleeve t-shirt layered underneath. The sleeves are a little long, but they do shorten up a bit with the Velcro adjustable cuffs. If I am just wearing a lightweight t-shirt underneath, then the XL is too big. I think I will get more use out of this jacket as opposed to the TNF Momentun jacket. It's more versatile with the wind and water resistance. An inbetween size would be perfect though.

The North Face Apex Elixir Softshell Jacket - Men's

April 18, 2010

I find myself in-between sizes L and XL (I am 6ft and just under 200lbs). I tried the Apex Elixir Softshell Jacketon in a store today. The L just fits. The XL has some room and the sleeves are a little on the long side. I plan on wearing it as an outer layer. The last TNF fleece I bought was the Scythe jacket. Same deal, sleeves were a little on the long side. I heard that up until recently, TNF used to offer a Long size. Now they don't and they incorporate a Long size into the XL size. That stinks for my sizing. Which size would you suggest?

The North Face Khumbu Fleece Vest - Men's

January 16, 2009

The collar does fold down, but it is tall and thick. That is the main reason why I returned mine.

The North Face Windwall 1 Fleece Vest - Men's

January 9, 2009

How does the Windwall vest fit? I am usually inbetween sizes, L and XL. An L just fits. I usually wear layers under a vest, ie, long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt, so should I go for an XL? I also heard that the material is a lint magnet. Is this true?

The North Face Khumbu Fleece Vest - Men's

The North Face Khumbu Fleece Vest - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 January 7, 2009

I received my Khumbu vest today and it's going right back. Lower quality compared to other TNF fleeces that I have. The collar is huge and thick!!! I am going to get a Denali vest or Windwall vest.

The North Face Khumbu Fleece Vest - Men's

December 29, 2008

Does this fleece have a logo on the back and is the stitching of the logo the traditional white stitching? I heard that The North Face has been using the same color stitching as the fleece material, thus no contrast. I am interested in a black XL.Also, do the two side pockets have zippers?
