Its super light weight, and very efficient. This thing is a beast in windy condition, 50%of the stove always stays lit no matter how much wind there is. With a wind shield its unbeatable

Bought this to belay in while Ice Climbing, awesome. The shell is waterproof so when the snow melts or if something spills on it you dont loose the warmth of the down. Only down side is that its a single zipper, no lower zipper.

Chocolate Outrage is great, its like chocolate pudding with some caffeine. When you`re just starting to feel hungry or drained take one of these and you`ll be good for the next hour if not longer. If the conditions are cold be sure to keep a packet or two on an inside pocket, the cold temps doesnt freeze then but it`ll be thicker than molasses

No problems with these runners, although they are a single solid color...not that stripped pattern shown in the picture. Also, its random colors so I have 2 different colors for the same sized runners

Pretty sweet Screw, when compared to the BD Express. The biner in the hangers gives you more torque to set the screw. But without the biner attached to the hanger it seemed to take more rotations to get the screw to bite on harder ice, when compared to the BD express. Also, the ice seemed to stick to the inside of the Petzl screw, you had to whip the screw to remove the ice. But I like that you can keep it attached to the rope when the 2nd is cleaning the route. No worries about dropping the screw

I think the mountains are afraid of this shovel....

Haven`t had to use it yet, thank god. I chose this one over other shovels because when the ish hits the fan I want a simple shovel. Pull the hand from the blade and you`re set. No digging in your pack looking for the handle or messing with those little metal buttons or tabs with gloved hands to put your shovel together. Just pull and go, the handle and blade stay together but collapse smaller than other shovels.

I~ve only used these shoes in the gym, cant wait to get out on real rock to use them. A full size smaller than your regular shoe is plenty, as the heal cup is super aggressive. I used to go down a size and a half to even 2 sizes with other shoes, couldnt get my foot in a size 9, I`m a 10.5 sneaker.

The lenses are wide enough that there is no need for the Glacier tabs to keep light out. While wearing them you dont notice the change in tint but if you look at the outside they go from a clear yellow (Think yellow ski goggle) to a mirrored Amber. Frame is solid, lens is solid.

Only complaint is the frame that wraps the lower edge of the lens tends to hold water droplets. Being that I`ve only used these while Ice Climbing it can get annoying. But they do not fog, which is great.

They run small, I`m a 33 waist ordered a M length was perfect but couldnt close the snap. Sent them back for a large which is a little longer and a lot larger in the waist

I ordered these for an ice climbing trip I`ll be doing in a couple of weeks and decided to test them out in the Catskills. 8-12inches of snow temps in the teens, post-holed it up Indian Head Mtn. There is no true gaiter on these pants, there is an elastic draw cord around the cuff. It doesnt stay around the boot, so snow gets in, and you are left with an 8 inch length of elastic cord hanging from your cuff, pain in the butt to keep tucking in.

The cuff got caught on the crust that formed over the snow from sleet and the zipper popped open from the bottom, its not supposed to separate from the bottom, it zips from mid thigh down to the cuff but the zipper isnt supposed to separate. Had to force zipper down realign the teeth and rezip.

Love the feel of them though, stayed dry and warm, had a light pair of long johns underneath, could have done with out them. They would be perfect for skiing and snowshoeing, hope they hold up for ice climbing.
