Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Hooded Down Jacket - Men's

May 12, 2009

Owning the jacket, I would say that the parka version would likely be a bit warmer. Being 6'1", 165lbs, my medium mens jacket pulls up about 2" when I raise my arms above my head. Those extra few inches of coverage will be key in maintaining the best coverage and heat conservation. That said, I really value that little bit of extra maneuverability. While I can't say 100% that the parka is just as good (not having owned both), I would highly recommend this jacket and Mountain Hardware in general. The parka is almost assuredly a bit warmer than the jacket (due to the extra length). Hope that helps.

Blackburn Copilot Limo Child Seat

May 12, 2009

That would depend largely upon the setup of the cruiser. Although your particular frame may differ, most cruisers that I have ridden have either had rear racks or the frames have had the capability of attaching such a rack.

As long as you can put a rack on the back of your cruiser, it should work just fine. If you aren't sure whether you can or not, take it to your local bike shop and have them check it out. What they'll be looking for are essentially attachment points right by the rear axle, and below the seat.

Hope this helps. :)

Salomon Falcon 10 Ski Boot - Men's

January 26, 2009

Backcountry might be able to stock it, but if they don't, I found a 29.5 at http://www.joessportinggoods.us/safa10albo.html and http://www.skirack.com/browse.cfm/4,3532.htm?gclid=CN2c7bXqq5gCFR0SagodYn-qnQ. I'm not sure if this is big enough, but...

Of the Earth Mega Hoody Sweatshirt - Men's

January 26, 2009

No, this is a relatively lightweight, organic, stylish men's hoody sweatshirt. If you are looking for a warm, heavy sweatshirt, I would look elsewhere.

Merrell Sprint Jacket - Men's

January 26, 2009

I'm not sure of the exact weight, but it a very lightweight rain jacket. There is no insulation, and nothing much besides the single water-proof layer to add weight.
