A very good choice

GoLite 24 Pack - 1200 cu in

GoLite 24 Pack - 1200 cu in

After a good bit of research I chose this pack specifically for a 24 hour adventure race that I did a little while ago. It is super light and I love the net in front for the bike helmet. The straps did a good job of cinching everything down so it was comfortable when I ran. The only thing I would change would be add a couple of small accessory pouches inside the pack for carrying small gear, but then again, that would make it heavier. Buy, you will love it!!!

Nothing to complain about...

Pacific Outdoor Equipment Pneumo Dry Bags

Pacific Outdoor Equipment Pneumo Dry Bags

Rating for this product: 5 May 20, 2005

It is a dry bag. There really isn't much you can say about them. I used it for adventure racing and it kept my gear dry. I love the air release valve - I wouldn't buy a bag without one. I bought the 5 liter and it fit my extra set of clothes, some TP, and a few Cliff bars and fit inside my pack without a problem.

Myo three is a great buy

Petzl Myo 3 Headlamp

Petzl Myo 3 Headlamp

Rating for this product: 5 May 20, 2005

I purchaced this for adventure racing and have no complaints about it. It stayed on my head and was easily adjustable when I needed to put it around my bike helmet (even after hour 22 of a race when you don't have much brain power left). The LEDs are bright enough for use while biking on road and in the woods and if you need to pin point something in the distance the halogen is basically a mini spot. I am not sure about a few of the descriptions that say it can go 100 yards but I could definately pin point a control at about 30 meters without a problem. I also like the fact that the halogen beam can be spread if needed. The Myo 5 has two more LEDs but honestly, I wouldn't spend the extra $40 for them (I'd spend $20 maybe) because I was able to ride through the woods and feel fairly confident that I wouldn't hit anything.

Best Shoes Ever

Salomon XA Pro 2 XCR Shoe- Men's

Salomon XA Pro 2 XCR Shoe- Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 1, 2004

These things are awesome!!!!! They are so comfortable and supportive they almost run for you. I have been through about two weeks of training and one sprint adventure race with them and they withstood everything. Not a drop of water got in and I never once even thought they would let my ankle roll. The ONLY thing I kind-of dislike are the laces. After quick-tying them the laces form a big loop that unless tucked under could easily get snagged on branches as you run through the woods. Other than that these are the greatest shoes I have ever owned!
