Time to get Puffy!!!!

The North Face Aconcagua Down Jacket - Men's

The North Face Aconcagua Down Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 6 days ago

as far as puffy down coats go this one is the ticket. Extremely warm and so very soft. Fits true to size as far as North Face goes. The only reason i dont give it the full five stars is that its a little "Puffier" than i expected. A very good medium between micropuff and the goofy looking full puff down.

Arc'teryx Bird Cage Beanie

Arc'teryx Bird Cage Beanie

Rating for this product: 2 6 days ago

Was expecting a very high quality beanie coming from a brand like Arc'teryx....I was disappointed. This thing is an around town "fashion" beanie if such a thing exists. One would be feeling a bit chilly with this below freezing. Dont was the extra cash.

Key Lime Pie!!!!!

Backcountry.com Shift Softshell Jacket - Men's

Backcountry.com Shift Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 6 days ago

This has got to be one of the more versatile pieces of gear that i have picked up from back country. Fairly effective in the rain. Good wind resistance. I expecting it to be a bit warmer put its thing enough that i cant throw it under a hardshell and solve that problem for most circumstances. I picked up the special edition Key Lime issue off SAC for 50 bucks. Dont know how i feel about it at 200$ but its definitely a solid piece to add to your arsenal.

Review Title

Backcountry.com Stoic 2.0 Shell - Men's

Backcountry.com Stoic 2.0 Shell - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 6 days ago

Picked up this hot little # after purchasing the Stoic eVent last year. In comparison this one is much warmer and shocking feels like it is substantially better put together as a whole. Definite an athletic cut so size up....length runs small. I use this one as my outer shell for skiing and have used my event for biking etc.

I picked up a couple 3 packs of these on clearance a while back not expecting too much. These things are amazingly comfortable. I tend to have sweaty feet but not in these babies. I stay comfortable and dry. Its hard to notice i have socks on when i am wearing them. No need to look any further.....

Orage Range Pant - Men's

the classic green looks so ill you need a doctor. Super comfortable..plenty of room without being baggy. Ridiculously waterproof, great breatheability and surprisingly warm given the overall thickness of the pants is not bulky.

Arc'teryx Bird Cage Beanie

Arc'teryx Bird Cage Beanie

Rating for this product: 2 January 12, 2009

I picked up the yellowish prior to a recent trip out to colorado. while the hat looks nice it was not remotely warm enough. I expected much more given the price tag. anything below 25F and your probably going to wish you had something else. But would be sufficient for a nice looking spring or fall beanie

eVent lives up to the hype

Backcountry.com Stoic eVent Shell - Men's

Backcountry.com Stoic eVent Shell - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 12, 2009

This thing is amazing. Picked up the Blue(looks awesome). Definitely size up one. I am 5'10 200lbs and picked up a large which leaves room for layering but wish i would have sized up to an XL. This thing works just as advertised. Was in breck recently skiing and withstood 60+ mph gusts and and ice storm. worth every penny. Is a bit thin so having a nice soft shell underneath if it is going to be below 25F.
