Distortion pack interior w/Dell 600M 15" laptop

Distortion pack interior w/Dell 600M 15" laptop

Burton Distortion Backpack - 30L

April 5, 2009

This is the pack with my Dell 600M laptop. Still has plenty of room for some overnight clothes, grub, extra goggles/gloves or whatever you can think of. This plus the 7 exterior pockets give you lots of room for pretty much anything.

Best lenses around

Oakley Wisdom Goggle Replacement Lenses

Oakley Wisdom Goggle Replacement Lenses

Rating for this product: 5 May 9, 2009

Own both the Titanium Clear and Fire Iridium lenses. Haven't gotten the chance to use the Fire's yet but the Titanium clear are pretty good for overcast days. Would've like some HI or some else rather than the Clear one but it came with the goggles when I bought them.

Changing lenses is a real pain in the ass. Would not recommend doing them while on the mountain. However, if you change them frequently, you'll probably get the hang on swapping them out pretty quickly. Make sure you have your goggle bag though.

Great day pack for boarding or a walk around town

Burton Distortion Backpack - 30L

Burton Distortion Backpack - 30L

Rating for this product: 5 April 6, 2009

I haven't been able to test out the bag on the slopes yet however it looks lke it'll be the perfect bag for taking on the slopes. It's not too heavy and has tons of pockets for everything. You could probably squeeze a hydration pack in here somewhere but there's no real place for it.

For use around town it's perfect. Has tons of pockets and can hold my 15" laptop with ease. It will, technically, hold my 17" laptop too but it ain't pretty. HIghly recommend this bag for pretty much any use. I'm a bit leary of the fabric as it looks kind of flimsy and wouldn't stand up to too much abuse. Overall though, really happy with this purchase. For $20, can't go wrong

Killer Setup, NIce Ride

Burton P1.1 Snowboard Binding

Burton P1.1 Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 March 13, 2009

I bought the P1 SZ bindings and they're killer. Ratcheting them up is super easy and quick. Rip cord cinch for the ankle strap is pretty durable, been out about 7/8 times now and they're still holding up pretty well. Highly recommend the bindings either regular and especially the SZ bindings.

Cool All Season Shirt

Oakley Endurance Winter Mountain Bike Jersey Full-Zip Long-Sleeve - Men's

Oakley Endurance Winter Mountain Bike Jersey Full-Zip Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 February 22, 2009

Not much of a biker but I bought this since it looked like a decent all weather/all season type gear. It's not too thick or too thin so it should work pretty well in Fall or even early Wintery weather. I can see using this on the slopes as a mid layer on colder days and even as a top layer on sunnier days. Overall I think its a nice shirt but it could've been better. It's Oakley so it definitely has the looks. The fit of this, however, is dicey. I normally wear XXL shirts anyways so this fits a little snug but not too snug. If you're built like a long distance truck driver with a belly larger than the spare tire on your truck, this ain't going to fit AT ALL. I'm fairly muscular so the fit is pretty good all around. If you have a small chest/small arms and are either gangly looking or wiry, this will probably look really stupid on you. Considering all you ever see are skinny bicyclists, not sure why they made the fit on this so awkward. Only other flaw with this thing was the pocket..yup, just one. and they put it on your hip. Personally, I think it's the dumbest place for a pocket and it's pretty much useless to me. Put anything in there and it'll look like you have some tumor or disease on your lower back.

Overall, it's a nice shirt but consider your body type before getting this shirt.
