So far, I've only tested these in my kitchen (using trail prep methods), but they were deeeelicious and super easy to make. I would happily make these with dinner on a normal night and should be downright luxurious with some soup on the trail.

Very nice pants

The North Face Paramount Porter Convertible Pant - Women's

The North Face Paramount Porter Convertible Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 August 24, 2009

These are great pants, they fit well (thank you, TNF for making women's pants with long lengths!) and are fairly cute for hiking pants. I wish the shorts were shorter, they are still that semi-awkward length that most young women wouldn't wear in public, but are fine for the trail. I wish there were ankle zips to let you take the bottom half off quickly. The DWR is great; I was, uh, testing my gear by spilling a glass of water all over myself and it beaded up, didn't even get to see how quick the quick dry was because nothing soaked through! All in all, a good pair of hiking pants.

Millet Aerial Max Jacket - Women's

August 20, 2009

Being that it runs fitted and true to size, does that mean it cannot fit a midlayer under it if you buy your normal size?
