Icebreaker BodyFit200 Legless Bottoms - Women's

May 7, 2009

Hi Judy, in my experience the waist loosens up quite a bit over time- however, mine are a much older version than these (5 yrs old). Hope that helps! And yes, pure merino.

Not to hot, not too cold, just right!

Icebreaker BodyFit200 Legless Bottoms - Women's

Icebreaker BodyFit200 Legless Bottoms - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 May 7, 2009

I wear these pretty much every ski day, whether in the resort or backcountry, and they keep me very comfortable. They are very durable- I've had them going on 5 years! I love the 3/4 length as a short-legged girl, and while the waist is high, it rolls down nicely. The only negative thing I can say about these is that they do tend to loosen up a bit as you wear them. That might compromise a bit on warmth, but it makes them awfully comfy! Anyhow, I highly recommend these.

Great baselayer

Icebreaker BodyFit 200 Tank - Women's

Icebreaker BodyFit 200 Tank - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 May 7, 2009

I absolutely love this tank- I wear it as a baselayer under my Icebreaker bodyfit 260 any time I need some extra warmth. The cut is great for broad-shouldered women who want extra warmth without the added bulk of sleeves under another layer. It is also great in the summer on its own for climbing, biking or hiking. Like my other favorite Icebreaker gear, this is durable- I've had mine going on 5 years- and never gets stinky, even under the most extreme sweatiness. Great product!

My favorite top!

Icebreaker BodyFit260 Tech Top - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Icebreaker BodyFit260 Tech Top - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 May 7, 2009

I've been rocking this top for nearly 5 years in every type of use imaginable- road biking, mtn. biking, camping/ hiking, resort skiing, backcountry skiing, fly fishing. I almost never wear synthetics anymore because this is so superior- it never stinks (whereas my synthetics get pretty gross after just an hour or two!). It's the perfect weight for pretty much any outdoor activity in the Northwest and in Jackson. For a bit more warmth, I like to layer this with a superfine 190 tank underneath.

Great tent, super light weight

The North Face Heron 23 Tent 2-Person 3-Season

The North Face Heron 23 Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 February 25, 2009

This tent is a great tent for the money. It is on the smaller size, but at under four pounds, that is to be expected. I spent 18 days in mine on a bike tour with my boyfriend and we were very comfortable. We have also used the fly-only pitching feature to do some snow camping and it was fabulous in that situation also. It is a snap to set up (less than 5 minutes, easy), and very tough and durable given the light weight. Most of the reviews on here that are negative appear to be from people that didn't do enough research to know exactly what kind of tent they were ordering. However, if you are looking for a lightweight, 2-person, 3 season tent that is simple and durable, this tent is the trick. If you want more space and dont mind the extra weight, you might find another product that works better for you. Cheers!
