Hey Hernando, the primary difference between between the triclimates listed are what type of liner jacket it has inside (fleece, softshell, insulator, etc), the other difference would be the features in the shells the more ski/snowboard styles will have powder skirts, media pockets etc while the more general styles will just have security pockets and organization. Hope that helps.

As far as pockets it has two alpine pockets on the chest which are comfortable to put your hands in. It also has a chest pocket that is accessed under the main zippers storm flap. As far as warmth this thing is toasty for sure, whether it is too warm for glacier travel depends on the temps and time of the year. Hey Jeulich, Those are all super solid questions. I travelled for years without rollers but have had a ski bag with rollers for the last 5 years and will never go back it's way easier and well worth the extra cash. As far as your boots and clothes go it totally depends on the size of your skis, whether you are traveling with one or two pairs of skis and how much it all weighs. In this bag I have traveled with two prs of AT skis (180cm and 160cm), 2 prs boots, 2prs poles and still stuffed in some clothes and made it under 50lbs. So depending on the size and weight of your gear it is definetley possible. This bag even has a minimalistic but functional removeable boot bag in case you are overweight and need to pull them out. Hope that helps.

Hey George I have a HP Probook and the dimensions are about 14 3/4" X 9 3/4" X 1 1/4" and it fits this packs hydration pocket/sleeve on the inside of the backpanel pretty well. There is a little extra space but not much. If you didn't put it in this pocket/sleeve you could probably fit an even longer computer and a little wider. Putting it in the sleeve is nice though because it keeps your computer off the ground when you set your pack down. See the pic for a look at how it fits.

I have both a medium and a large and for shorter trips 1 week or so I use the medium and longer I use the large. So I would reccomend the large even if you don't use all the space the compression straps allow you to compress the unused space so the duffel isn't all loose and bulky. As Mike commented if you are hauling a pile of gear the XL is black hole that will swallow anything you throw in it.

Hi Donita the primary difference between the two is the Stella Grace has a lining while the Grace does not have a lining. What that means to you is the Stella Grace will be a little warmer while but the Grace will be lighter weight and more packable. If you are layered properly underneath either one should work for the temps you will be in.

Actually Aschatz the primary difference between Green Kazoo and Blue Kazoo is the Green Kazoo uses recyclcled materials such as: Pertex Eco Shell Fabric, Climashielf HL Green Compression Pads on the bottom, 100% recycled mesh storage bag and stuff sack. As far as pros/cons go there aren't any cons so it is really all so you can sleep in peace knowing you are doing something good for the environment.

If you are looking for almost and exact replacement of the volt go with the nimble jacket, if you are looking for something a little more fleecy with less wind and weather protection than the volt the momentum is great and probably the better layering piece, the pneumatic is heavier than the volt and will offer better wind and weather protection than your volt.

It all depends on what type of person you are, I would say if you are always cold then yeah it might work. More and more people are skiing in big down jackets and just wearing a synthetic tee shirt underneath. If you are generally a warm person than more than likely with any exertion you are going to overheat. I am a warm person and have the McMurdo which is similar to this and unless I am just sitting around in hella cold weather it gets too hot.

It is definitely a thin lightweight jacket which means besides blocking the wind/rain it doesn't really insulate you from the cold. If you layered properly (baselayer, fleece, etc) it could be warm enough for winter use. But as Ingrid mentions above and I would have to agree it makes a better spring skiing and summer and fall shell jacket.

It's the kind of wool that comes from sheep. Not merino, if you're wondering.I own this jacket and as Angus said it is traditional wool but the jacket is completely lined so I have never noticed it to be itchy and my lady friend has no problem cozying up to it so you should have no complaints.
