Columbia Omni-Dry Silver Ridge II Convertible Pant - Men's

Columbia Omni-Dry Silver Ridge II Convertible Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 30, 2009

I am suggesting the purchase of these Columbia pants because based on my experience you will get a good fit and longevity in wear time. I am not disputing the fact that there are leaner price points out there but low cost today may mean poor fit. I am a 36 29 but starting a few years ago due to the advent of overseas manufacturing, an Internet order always meant a trip to the tailor because in the $35 range, the construction was poor. Columbia is a mainstay in the outdoor clothing sector and you are purchasing from a well heeled and polished website. That is why I recommend these pants from Columbia. These are an investment in your wardrobe. Jay Adler

A Really Smart Piece Of Goods

Mountain Hardwear Canmore Short - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Canmore Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 23, 2009

You will have to excuse me but I always used the word "shorts". Well I may be a having to catch up a little to today's nomenclature but I can tall you that Mountain Hardware Canmore Short is a really fine piece of goods. I worked for several years back in the '80's in the Garment Center in New York City so after reading the specs above I am sure this material is comfortable and versatile and when we add today's perks like a cell phone pocket and cargo pockets, you just bought yourself a smart number as we used to say back then. Also, when men do buy a short, make sure your "look" conforms to your body style. That will determine among other factors
length and snug fit. This product most probably conforms to men who require a relaxed fit. Backcountry.Com has product lines for everyone which you will discover as you go through the site. Jay Adler

A Watch For The 21 Century

Oakley D3 Watch

Oakley D3 Watch

Rating for this product: 5 February 27, 2009

If you are young and on the go and love the outdoors, you probably do not want your father's bracelet-ed Swiss watch. I actually was in the watch business in 1974 so I will pay big time for the iconic brands. What you want is a highly durable, smart looking and functional watch like the Oakley D3 which syncs to your busy lifestyle. Remember, you would never want to pay for my old timer watches and wear them to political functions. If you review this Backcountry.com page this watch is priced exceptionally well based on its toughness and outstanding features. You are going hiking and mountain climbing, you need an attractive watch that can hold up and is in style. I fervently recommend the Oakley D3 and so does my kid who recently acquired one. Jay Adler
