Mountain Hardwear Navigation Pant - Women's

Mountain Hardwear Navigation Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 May 19, 2009

I got these to use for spring ski tours. I always overheat in goretex and such. They are a great weight for temperate days in the Wasatch. (might want to be conservative if the weather is questionable) They could use scratch/scuff guards at the boot, but they are not billed as ski pants, so I guess that's what you get. I was surprised to find that I could sit in the snow and not get wet, although I would guess that won't last forever.

Garmont Mega Ride G-Fit Ski Boot

April 10, 2009

nevermind, i figured it out. you just have to really lean forward with it in walk mode before flipping it down to get it to stick into the more forward of the 2 positions.

Garmont Mega Ride G-Fit Ski Boot

April 10, 2009

How do you change between the 2 forward lean positions? I can't see how that lever in the back could be anything other than down or up....that's 2 positions: ski / walk. thanks

Salomon Thruster Softshell Pant - Men's

February 28, 2009

how do these pants compare to other softshells in terms of breathability - I am looking for something to tour in, and hate to overheat. Most of the lightweight pants don't have venting (these do) but these seem more like regular ski pants.

Dynafit ZZero 4 C-TF Alpine Touring Boot

December 12, 2008

the 25.5 shell fit me pretty good ( performance fit...one finger behind heel) but the liners are too short....my big toe is crammed against the front - the liner is uncomfortable even when not in the boot. Do you think I should stretch the liner, or just move to the 26 for the bigger shell size?
