Patagonia Primo Down Jacket - Men's

Patagonia Primo Down Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 4 days ago

I am 6 1 200lbs and athletic build and larges fit great in everything even in clothing that allows for layering fits well, BUT this jacket is just humungous. Id say that they tagged their XXL with the large tag if anything. It left a lot of space inside to be left as "cold" space when on the mountain. THE WORST of the jacket was that with my arms straight out in front of me, let alone down at my side, the sleeves of this thing went about an inch past my finger tips. How can you hold on to ski poles or even unzip your fly in the restroom with that. three stars for material and the idea but a one star for everything else. Patagonia really messed up on this one.

whats up with hood

Millet Cosmic GTX Jacket - Men's

Millet Cosmic GTX Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 4 days ago

Well unlike the previous people I got the size I ordered. Large, Im 6 1 200lbs and the jacket fit great. The hood on the other hand sucked. It felt like it was made for a person with a two inch neck. I had all pull tabs loosened and tried to loosen them more but it was soo small that it felt like the entire weight of the jacket was resting on my head. Plus it is a removable hood so with the tension of the hood on my head pushing and the weight of the jacket pulling the zipper connecting both kept coming undone. Mind you this is all without the ski helmet. If you dont care about the hood part get it the rest is awesome but the hood was worthless.

Chaco Local Eco Tread Sandal - Women's

January 18, 2012

As with any sandal getting rocks in under your foot will happen. If the ankle strap is looser than the z1 or z2 then im sure your foot separates more from the foot bed when you walk leaving ample room for rocks. The z1 have a tighter technical strap system because you can go hiking with them which I do I still get rocks in them but shake them a little and they clear out. Unfortunately as for the blisters. If you have been a shoe wearer mainly for your life then all chacos will usually give you blisters until your feet toughen up to them. I didnt get blisters until mile 5 of an 8 mile hike my first time wearing them though. But the comfort is nothing to overlook. I own four different pair now. ps your husband probably has the z1 unless there is a toe strap then the z2.

chisle edge

NRS Co-Pilot Knife

NRS Co-Pilot Knife

Rating for this product: 4 October 11, 2011

I dont know if Arcadian is talking specifically about the front edge of the knife where a typical point would be but if so then he bought a completely wrong knife for his needs.

If you know anything about water knives the front edge is not sharpened or pointed in order to keep you from puncturing your raft or even yourself, since in most rapids you are tossing and turning around. Also it is shaped into a dull chisel in case you need to pry anything open. If you want a sharp pointed knife dont buy a water knife FYI.

Four stars because I dont own this knife.

Stoic Microlith Softshell Pullover - Men's

Stoic Microlith Softshell Pullover - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 15, 2011

just got one of these the other day and so far I like it it fits well Im 6'1 200 and the large is a good fit. The extra length on the sleeves is not an issue either. from some other reviews I thought there would be a lot of material but hardly noticeable. I would say that this is athletic fit so that you can get it under a shell if need be but there is plenty room for a tshirt under it. If you want anything bigger than a T under it then size up.

Chaco Flip Eco Tread Sandal - Men's

September 7, 2011

yes the pro version is a vibram sole but beware it is a softer rubber for getting better grip, BUT it is a marking rubber as well (black marks on the floor). so while they may be more comfy or whatever they will wear down faster

Not My Foot Maybe Yours

Reef Fashion Strap Sandal - Men's

Reef Fashion Strap Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 August 13, 2011

So I have owned a few different pair of reefs so far and figured that a vibram sole would last for a while in a minimalist sandal. Why 3 stars. The GOOD: sandals are very comfortable and up to par with reefs quality. The BAD: 1. The strap is flimsy and its kind of hard to put them on standing without bending over to put them on. 2. The strap is sewn on the sandal about a half inch from where it should be. All reef 12 have fit perfect for me, these stop between my toes so my heel actually is behind the back of the edge of the flip flop but I have 1/2 in im not using in front of my toes. I would try a 13 but am worried that I would have an inch in front and behind my foot. 3. Not a biggy. No where does the sole/flop say that it is a vibram material. Although I dont doubt it is, Im just used to vibram writing there name on all there stuff. If your foot fits then awesome sandal. Unfortunately not for me.

Vibram Pro Sole

Chaco Flip Pro Sandal - Men's

Chaco Flip Pro Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 March 31, 2011

I personally do not own these flips yet but maybe when summer rolls around I will. Warning to all new to the Vibram Pro rubber. It is a softer rubber which grips better than the original but will mark a floor and will wear down faster than usual. Gave four stars cause I love chacs but dont own these yet.

Shredbak

CamelBak Shredbak Hydration Pack Vest - Women's

CamelBak Shredbak Hydration Pack Vest - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 December 14, 2010

Like the first review said that you can kind of look like a hunchback with this, but I did expect that. And I figured out how to cut the tube on my own. YAY! Joking aside, this is a cool layering piece for cold weather, when you don't need a pack on. The vest is sweet by itself too because the hydration system can be separated. So if you don't need water you can have a nice soft shell vest only. My only complaints is that it is not worth 200. I luckily scored in on geartrade for less. So if you can get it for less you probably should just know that a bag of water on your back will stick out when on. (P.S. not too noticeable with a winter shell over top)
