Great Shovel

Black Diamond Deploy 3 Shovel

I bought this shovel for a Mountain Travel Rescue class where we have to build and sleep in snow caves. The class hasnt happened yet but I look forward to using the shovel. It is super light and very compact. It fits awesomely into my Dakine Heli Pro backpack. I have room for a night or two worth of clothes still and some food which is perfect for this class.

Works Great

Backcountry.com Dawn Patrol Vaccuum Coffee Tumbler - 3-Pack

I just used this for the first time this weekend working ski patrol. Poured coffee in at 4 am and it was still hot for first chair at 7. I filled it to full the first use so some of the coffee spilled out. The bottom of the silver Tumbler came off for some reason, should be a simple glue fix. Completely awesome product and cant wait to use it more and for different things.

Voile Ski Straps 9 Through 25 inches

I just bought 4 of the 18 in. straps. When I got them in the mail I thought I had bought ones that were way to long for my skis, but then I wrapped the straps around my Armada JJ's with my poles next to the bindings and it was a perfect fit. These straps make it really easy to carry your skis and your poles all at one time. I have also used them as my vise for waxing my skis. As a ski patrol member I can think of 20 different things these straps could be used for, so be sure to buy some extra. These straps rock.
