Hestra Heli Glove

Hestra Heli Glove

Rating for this product: 5 December 29, 2009

these gloves fit true to the sizing guide. the liners are really warm. we had a minus 10 wind chill today and my hands were very warm on a walk. i will be getting a seperate pair of liners, something a little lighter just to have options. the gloves just feel well constructed. they also include a small bit of leather lube. if maintained i see these gloves lasting a long time. liners are available from hestra if backcountry is out.

The North Face Apex Bionic Jacket - Men's

The North Face Apex Bionic Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 2, 2009

This is a great jacket to just throw on. Comfortable, wind proof, and somewhat water resistant. I own two of em , one for work and the other for whatever. They are very durable for being a soft shell. The fit might be snug if you like your clothes baggy. Dont expect an extremely warm jacket but its great to bomb around in.

Salomon SpeedCross 2 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 13, 2009

These shoes are really light and the traction is top notch. Sizing is true to size. They fit a little tight but they feel like you have nothing on your feet. I use them for running through the woods in the snow. They look great too.

The North Face Agency Jacket - Men's

December 11, 2008

zipper capability means wether a liner can zip into it. if you are buying the apogee down jacket . you probably wont need a liner anyways. it appears to be an extremely warm jacket.

The North Face Agency Jacket - Men's

The North Face Agency Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 11, 2008

This jacket is constructed very well. It is extremely durable. The zippers are YKK and seem fine. I purchased a medium. I have a 42 inch chest and a 33 inch waist with wide shoulders. The jacket fit was a little tight with more than a tee shirt on under. The abdomen area was not oversized. I will be returning it for a large. The insulation is perfect and the shell is not penetrated with the forty mile per hour winds in this central new york winter. I feel that the jacket is very agile. The jacket can also be adjusted in several different ways. I have owned a couple North Face summit series shells with gore tex xcr for years and love the performance. I will be wearing this jacket over those from here on out. Dealing with Backcountry on the exchange and help from gear heads is easy and extremely helpful.
