La Sportiva TC Pro Vibram XS Edge Climbing Shoe
March 18, 2012
Can't really speak for how they feel on OW specifically, but after using Kaukulators my first time in Indian Creek and then using TC Pros, I feel like the TC Pros are stiffer and made my feet hurt less in those cracks..

Patagonia Footwear Lugano Waterproof Boot - Women's

I've had these boots for 3 winters so far and only recently I started to spray them with some nikwax waterproofing since they've been through a lot!

Optimus Crux Lite Stove
November 12, 2011
Why does it say that the boil time on this stove is 60 min? Also, the weight is the same as the regular Crux Stove according to the backcountry.com stats?

Sea To Summit Tek Towel
November 7, 2011
I've washed this as I'd wash a normal towel and had no issues. I've had and used this thing as a normal towel at home for the past 4 years.. still in great condition.

La Sportiva TC Pro Vibram XS Edge Climbing Shoe
October 20, 2011
I'd suggest trying them on before buying also, but I had the same issue with Mythos. Foot jams in bigger cracks hurt my feet badly. Mythos are much softer than the TC Pros. Personally, I found the TC Pros made a huge difference just because it was stiffer. Pretty much don't touch my mythos now.

CamelBak Big Bite Valve Cover
May 24, 2011
This doesn't work so well to prevent leakage. The cover is still soft enough that if there is pressure on it, it will make the bite valve leak.

Osprey Packs Kestrel 38 Backpack - 2200-2300cu in
May 24, 2011
Don't do it. My friend used this as her crag pack carrying a rack and other climbing gear. This bag fell apart in less than a year. One part of the metal frame poked a hole in a bottom and now sticks out. The material isn't great for carrying equipment like that.

Five Ten Anasazi VCS V2 Climbing Shoe - Men's
December 29, 2010
Do these stretch much? I looked at them in person and the outside material doesn't seem like its leather. I don't understand what the website means by "Cowdura."

SmartWool NTS Microweight Zip-Top - Women's
October 23, 2010
I normally where an xs in Patagonia Capilene 1/4 layers and I found that the xs in the Smartwool 1/4 layer was way shorter. I then got a Small and it fits better and is a little longer on the torso than the Patagonia 1/4 Capilene XS.
